Privacy Policy

MagnetoScan PRO ("the App") is developed and published by Veysel TEKES. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

MagnetoScan PRO does not collect any personal information. The App processes sensor data exclusively on your device for the sole purpose of providing measurement functionality. Specifically:

  • Sensor Data: Magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and microphone readings are processed in real-time on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
  • Location Data: GPS data is used only by the Speedometer and Compass features and is processed locally. We do not store or transmit location data.
  • Bluetooth Data: The Bluetooth Scanner discovers nearby devices for signal strength display only. No connections are established and no device identifiers are stored.
  • Audio Data: Microphone input is used solely for decibel level measurement. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

2. Data Storage

All measurement data and user preferences are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. This data is accessible only to the App and is removed when you uninstall the App.

3. Advertising

MagnetoScan PRO displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to free (non-premium) users. AdMob may collect and use the following information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads:

  • Device Identifiers: Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance.
  • Usage Data: Ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, and ad engagement metrics.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, language, and network connection type.
  • IP Address: Used for approximate location-based ad targeting (country/region level).

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS 14.5 and later, you will be prompted to allow or deny tracking. If you deny tracking, only non-personalized ads will be shown. You can change this setting anytime in your device's Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob: For displaying banner and interstitial advertisements to non-premium users. See Section 3 above.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
  • Google Fonts: For typography rendering. Google Fonts may collect basic usage data as described in their privacy policy.

5. In-App Purchases & Ad-Free Experience

The App offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. All purchase transactions are processed securely through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information. Premium subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience — all advertising is disabled upon subscription activation.

6. Children's Privacy

MagnetoScan PRO is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AdMob is configured to comply with COPPA regulations.

7. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Your sensor data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a PDF report. Ad-related data is handled directly by Google AdMob under their own privacy policy.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Opt out of personalized advertising by denying the App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS) or resetting your Advertising ID (Android).
  • Remove all locally stored App data by uninstalling the application.
  • Purchase a premium subscription to eliminate all advertising and tracking.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to ensure the security of locally stored preferences and measurement data through the platform's built-in security mechanisms. All ad network communications are encrypted via HTTPS.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
